* Defining keeping policies
* Defining Information Architecture ( structures and organizational schemes)
* Enhance information´s access / communication
* Provide services and technology suitable for information retrieval (creating metadata frameworks)
* Set policies for the information disposal
* Set policies for preservation and conservation
